Experience the thrill of deep-sea fishing in Northern Norway with us.
Sørvær is located on the southwestern tip of the renowned sea fishing metropolis Sørøya in northern Norway. Its location allows access to several excellent fishing spots and reef tops within 10 nautical miles from the camp, but it is also possible to venture into the open sea and visit legendary places such as Storskalltaren, Kamøysund, Rosa, and more. In Sørvær, there is a grocery store and a gas station within walking distance, about 10 minutes from the camp.
Sørøya is a well-known name in sea fishing circles throughout Europe and offers great fishing for several different species. Perhaps most famous is the skrei fishing, which is of absolute top quality with fantastic amounts of large cod, with peaks between 30-40 kg being caught annually. Halibut is probably the most popular species, and truly large halibut over 2 meters are caught annually. Large redfish, large plaice, wolffish, pollock, and spotted wolffish are other species that are caught.
